How to Fix Our Math Education

Good opinion piece on the trouble with Math in America's school system.  In short the piece focuses on teach math in a way that makes a connection and is useful - not all abstract and unconnected to real use.  I couldn't agree more.  Making math interesting, real and useful will help to engage in our students in math and not make it so laborious.
